美的冰箱事业部目前在安徽合肥、广东广州拥有三个制造基地，占地面积 27 万平方米，其中合肥占地面积 23 万平方米，广州占地面积 4 万平方米，员工 6000 多人。

　　冰箱事业部目前同时经营着“美的”、“荣事达”、“华凌”三个知名品牌，其中“美的”和“荣事达”均为中国驰名商标（“美的”品牌价值 2006 年经权威机构评估高达 311.90 亿元， 位居全国最有价值品牌第七位 ）。

　　冰箱事业部现在拥有生产线共 11 条，其中冰箱生产线 9 条，冷柜生产线 1 条，酒柜生产线 1 条，主要生产各类冰箱、冷柜、酒柜等，综合年产能达 600 万台，所有产品均通过了国家强制 3C 认证，并通过了 ISO9001 ： 2000 质量管理体系认证和 ISO14001 环境管理体系认证。冰箱事业部 营销网络和售后服务网络遍布全国各地， 目前在全国共有 35 个产品管理中心，近 6000 个零售网点， 1500 多家维修服务网点， 产品销售到全球 100 多个国家和地区；建立了国家级企业技术研发中心，拥有一支超过 100 人的研发团队。

　　2006 年，美的冰箱表现出强劲的发展态势，在整合合肥、广州两地三大制造基地的同时，实现了产销各类冰箱及相关产品 300 万台，销售收入突破 35 亿元，同比增长 40% 。

　　2007 年，随着企业组织架构、经营机制和管理机制调整的顺利完成，冰箱三期扩能工程的竣工投产，将使美的冰箱的综合实力跃上一个更高的台阶。 2007 年冰箱事业部产销各类冰箱及相关产品 400 万台，销售收入突破 45 亿元。

Midea Refrigeration Division is located in Hefei, Capital of Anhui Province. It is a comprehensive home appliance corporation, which is professional on R&D, manufacturing and sales of refrigerators and relevant freezing appliances. Now it is one of the largest refrigeration basements for manufacturing and sales in China.

Midea Refrigeration Division holds three manufacturing basements in Hefei and Guangzhou, with total area of 270,000 square meters. Hefei basements take 230,000 square meters, and Guangzhou basement takes 40,000 square meters. There are over 6,000 employees.

Midea Refrigeration Division holds brands of “Midea”, “Royalstar” and “Hualing”. Both “Midea” and “Royalstar” are very famous brand in China, especially the authorized value of “Midea” brand exceeded 31 billion RMB Yuan in 2006.

The total annual manufacturing capacity reaches 5 million sets in the year of 2007 ， with 11 production lines. There are 9 production lines for refrigerators, 1 production line for chest freezers, 1 production line for wine coolers. Midea provides full range of refrigerators, freezers and wine coolers. All products are with national 3C certificate, and are qualified by ISO9001:2000, ISO14001. The sales and after-sales service network of Midea covers all China and extends to over 100 countries and areas. Midea is also putting more resources for R&D. There is one national authorized R&D center, and over 100 engineers.

In 2006, Midea Refrigeration Division achieved excellent development. Midea started re-structure three manufacturing basements in Hefei and Guangzhou. Meanwhile Midea achieved manufacturing and sales over 3 million refrigerators and relevant products. The total turnover exceeded 3.5 billion RMB Yuan, which increased 40% compared with 2005.

With re-structured corporation structure, operation and management system, the 3 rd project of expanding manufacturing capacity for refrigerators, the comprehensive competitiveness of Midea Refrigeration Division will be upgraded to higher level in 2007. It has achieved manufacturing and sales over 4 million refrigerators and relevant products in 2007, with total turnover exceeds 4.5 billion RMB Yuan.

As the key industry for Midea group in the future, Midea refrigeration Division will become the engine of continuously development of whole group.
